Commonwealth Edison (ComEd)

Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) is the largest electric utility in Illinois, managing more than 90,000 miles of power lines for 3.8 million customers throughout Chicagoland and the northern region of the state. The utility is at the forefront of new energy technology in the region including those related to smart grid, energy storage, and energy efficiency. President and Chief Executive Officer of ComEd Anne Pramaggiore is a member of ISEN’s Executive Council, and Demetria Giannisis, ISEN’s Senior Director of Operations and Partnerships, is a member of ComEd’s Business Advisory Board. ComEd’s financial support and expertise on electric industry trends, markets, and policy have been invaluable to furthering ISEN’s mission. ComEd is also the utility sponsor of the annual conference of The Energy Times in Chicago, of which ISEN is a University Partner.
