The Center for Advanced Materials for Energy and the Environment (CAMEE) is developing new materials for clean energy innovation and  environmental remediation.

About Us

CAMEE focuses on discovering and developing new materials that can be used in energy production and conservation, or in environmental cleanup and remediation. Through the fields of chemistry and materials science, CAMEE researchers are investigating ways to convert wasted heat into electricity, clean up toxic metals, and extract minerals from our mines and oceans.
