Avram Buchbinder

Avi joined Honeywell UOP in 2011. There he has worked as both as a research specialist and a manager in both applied and exploratory catalysis. Avi is a co-inventor on more than 15 US patents and co-author of 10 peer reviewed journal articles. Avi’s research at UOP has included hydrocarbon conversions such as acid catalyzed alkylation and cracking processes. Prior to joining Honeywell UOP Avi earned a B. S. in chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University focused on surface science.
